Two Quick Cards

This was made with a cut that I received from another member of the Cricut MB. It is *obviously* from the Hello Kitty cartridge. The embossed background was sent to me by another generous member of the MB. (I just LOVE raks (random acts of kindness) and swaps!!) I embellished it with some letter beads that I had lying around, as well as some seed beads. My 10 yr old neice enjoyed it!!

This card was a simple birthday card that I made for my husband's cousin. I used a Panda from the Pagoda cartridge (sent to me by a MB member!!) and another embossed background from the same MB member as the Hello Kitty card. I get such great use out of the cuts I receive!
On another note, I just received the Once Upon a Princess cartridge the other day! I can't wait to play!!

TWINCHIES!!!

"Twinchies" (for those of you who are unaware!) are 2-inch squares that are decorated/embellished however you wish. I was recently involved with a SWAP on the Cricut MB that required me to make 20 of the same Twinchies and send them to the SWAP host. She then gathers them together and sends us back 20 (10 sets of 2) Twinchies that were sent in to her from other members of the MB. The due date for the SWAP is 3/31, and these are the ones that I sent in!! I am so excited to see what others have made, and makes it so simple when it comes time to make that quick card at the last minute! For those of you who don't make cards, they also make great additions to Layouts or gift bags/tags, or anything else creative you can come up with! My Twinchies came from the Sweet Treats cartridge.

I will post a picture on here when I receive my Twinchie package in a couple weeks! I'm so excited!!

This is a simple Thank You card that I made....I just used an embossed background, added a piece of ribbon, a Cricut butterfly cut from the Sentimental cartridge (that I received as part of a RAK on the Cricut Messageboard) and voila!! A fast and simple card!!
